Visiting possibilities:
- The protected area Pădurea Crăiască (Crăiască Forest) which hosts exceptional species of oak, durmast, European or common larch, European hornbeam and common maple. In the forest, the birds population with a high unusual density attracts like a magnet the bird watching lovers.
- Gavril Lake, 30 m deep, the biggest salty lake in România which still maintains at the surface a layer of fresh water hosting fish population.
- Tăul Fără Fund (The Lake without Bottom) – 33 m deep, the deepest lake in the region.
- The salt-water mineral baths – the main attraction for visitors during the summer.
