The proposed action envisages building a cross-border cooperation and foster contacts in a long time framework for opportunity assessment and planning of nature friendly tourism (ecotourism) development, between NGOs (Ecologic Association and Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre) and interested communities placed in the Upper Tisza River Basin at the border of Romania and Ukraine.

The two partner organizations that cooperated during project implementation in the border region of Romania and Ukraine:

• EcoLogic Association- from Baia Mare, Maramures County, Romania
• Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre, from Ujgorod, Transcarpathia Region, Ukraine
